Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Cancellation of Pickup Request
Customers reserve the right to cancel their pickup request or device sale at any time prior to the physical handover of the device to the Lapdeal authorized agent and the subsequent initiation of the payment transfer. You may cancel your request via the Lapdeal dashboard, or by contacting our support team at support@lapdeal.com.
There are absolutely no cancellation fees or penalties for withdrawing your sale request prior to the completion of the transaction.
2. Rejection of Final Offer
Following the physical diagnostic evaluation by our agent at your premises, Lapdeal may present a revised offer if the device condition differs materially from the digital declaration. You are under no obligation to accept this revised offer. If you decline the final offer, the transaction is immediately cancelled with no fees incurred.
3. Post-Sale Refunds and Returns
Once you have accepted the final offer, handed over the device, and the payment has been successfully initiated by Lapdeal to your designated bank account or UPI ID, the transaction is considered final and irrevocable.
Lapdeal does not offer "returns" of sold devices, nor do we require "refunds" of the payout from the seller after a successful transaction, except in cases of fraud or stolen property.
4. Payment Failures
In the rare event that an initiated payment fails or is delayed due to banking infrastructure outages, our agent will remain at the premises until the transaction is successfully completed, or an alternative payment method is agreed upon. If the payment ultimately cannot be processed, the transaction will be voided, and the device will remain in your possession.
5. Fraudulent Transactions
Lapdeal reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings and seek full restitution (including a refund of the payout and coverage of legal fees) if a purchased device is later discovered to be stolen, heavily tampered with in a manner undetectable during standard on-site diagnostics, or linked to any illegal activities.
